One of the ways is to apply for an adsense account and then you only need to insert the codes to begin earning (that is if your WP blog has traffic). Another direction is to use affiliate marketing and sell products. You will have to select a network to begin your campaign.

adsense sometimes can be frustrating even for blogs with lots of traffic (THEY JUST WON'T CLICK IT !!), affiliate marketing and sell products are more likely i guess, and why not try to join review sites like reviewme ?

There is no one single answer to your question.

A lot depends on the type of traffic you have (SE's? return visitors?), your niche and more.

Wordpress is just a platform - how to monetize a website is really your question. It being a blog is only a small part of the equation... I would suggest visiting the advertising forum here. It's a good place to start your research. Don't expect to make any money to speak of unless you have lots of traffic (if it's under 200-300 uniques a day, I wouldn't even worry about ads at this stage).

Yep..I guess Anat is right. Blog is just a small part of the equation. Been joining to review sites and have adsense too but the earnings really depend on your traffic. Hard and right work I guess is the key.
