    possible? Whats the best way to pass data between iframes

    ok

    I have 2 web apps running on different boxes under different domains

    app1(JAVA / ORACLE APPS) and app2(DRUPAL)

    the challenge is to incorp app2 into app1 using an iframe

    easy!

    /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    procedure is app1 fill in some stuff

    hand over to app2 fill in more stuff

    hand back to app 1 with all stuff for db insertion.

    /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    problems

    when i POST data from iframe app2 to the parent app1 we are prompted for login info again

    Whats the best way?

    You could store the data inside the cookie.

    The answer is, you shouldn't. Passing data between domains like that opens up a ridiculous amount of CSRF vulnerability.

    javascript cross domain frame handling

    Is that what you looking for?
