How should I promote this new site?

    Hi folks

I started http://www.w3exit.com/ 2 weeks ago and it has grown steadily. However I'm far from the top .. on the way though

Our site provides exit exchange program for web dev related sites. It's the only one around for web dev sites.

My target members are webmasters for web dev sites like those in my sig below.

I've tried a large banner campaign on some of Linkexchange's Computer and Internet member sites but the results were a complete flop.

Any suggestions on how to reach these potential members?

    Mike

Try buying some ads at EzineAdAuction. However, I heard you should research the newsletters before placing a bid, because there are some scammy ones.

I've been wondering if there are any discussion forums or egroups that reach largely webmasters of web dev sites?

There are toons of free webmaster resource sites. I would post you site on as many of those as you can. Also the resource sites that are not related to being free. I just got done doing this myself, it just takes time and patience.

I do searched on all the big search engines for thing like:
    webmaster resource add
    webmaster resource submit
    webmaster tools add
    webmaster tools submit
    promotion liks add
    webmaster links add
    etc.........

I'm saddened a bit that I was a receipient of spam from your end.
That was related to just being a Linkexchange.com user.

You see people do more hard work.
And after you develop a site you should plan to spend a little money on ads. rather than spam people.

I would not mind just your mail, but with another 10 like you & my email is flooded.
So please, do not do that again for people's peace of mind.
And best wishes with your program.
And to give you some simple BUT really good advice, advertise or manaually build credits with Browser based Start Programs........

Like I will keep them in a Spam folder for filing a case against everyone ; )

Jokes apart, since this was 1-2 days ago I deleted it.
But you must understand I have never seen/known you before & do not want to attack you for any or even this reason.

    Just a word of advice.

I would definitely consider buying an ad in an ezine for webmasters, such as trafficology.com
FREE home-based job opportunity. Company has
been in business for 15+ years and is a member of
the BBB. Check it out at SimpleCash.biz
