    Can Aggregating Web Rings Work?

Lets say for example you regester a series of 'something'books.com domains.

    autobiographybooks.com
    referencebooks.com
    sciencebooks.com

    etc.

You find a way of aggregating the content for the categories of lots of online book retailers onto each site. So if you want to buy an autobiography you go to autobiography.com and you search all the sites at once saving lots of time.

Each site may generate $50 a week but 20 sites would generate $1000.00 a week. From doing little work once the sites are set up.

You now have 20 sites to promote instead of 1. All of them are primarily duplicate content, since you're aggregating information from other sites, so they won't get much if any natural search traffic. How will you get all 20 to earn $50 a week, let alone one?

Don't bother creating 20 niche sites within some topic area unless you can contribute something new to the web in all 20 areas. Otherwise there's no reason for someone to use your site over the generalized site that has all 20 areas, no reason for people to link to the site, and no reason for search engines to send you any traffic.
