Exactly! That dog looks as if she's sad, but manages to look cute at the same time.![]()

Looking up from below.

Apologies for the large image. I uploaded the wrong one
That was from a vacation trip in 1999.
Wow.. looks interesting from the inside, much in contrast to the way it looks outside![]()

This is the 2nd tarantula I've caught this week, right here by my house in Southwest Missouri. The first pic is my entry for perspective - the 2nd pic is of my cat looking at it and it's too cute not to share

I snapped this pair of spiders webbed in the two windows panes at the back of my shed. A bit out of focus but you get the idea what kind of a nice view they have!

What a cute pic of kittie looking at your catch. OMG! Those are huge spiders. I have lots of spiders here with me in my shed and I'm not frighted of any of them, but none are larger than my thumbnail. Don't know if I'd feel the same about one as big as the ones you found! Do they bite??

Here's one of the dugout where my 4-yr old was playing T-Ball in 2005.

Hook'Em Horns!
I'm just glad these aren't fuzzy.

Great submissions, keekepod.
I can recall the incredible noise those cicadas make (when I lived in the Mid-Atlantic portion of the US).

One more I found in my collection:

Like the rusty girder - armchaircritic. Also the reflection.
This was shot in France last week - light and dark to a vanishing point?
