    Is there any way to check the traffic of your site?

    I wanted to know if there is any way to check the number of visitors
    to your site.

    If you are wordpress user, install the plugin called wordpress stat. It will give a complete details of your traffic.

    Google Analytics is the best tool for traffic statistics,
    besides you can try to use the Alexa statistics, here is the link:

    http://www.alexa.com/

    Just enter the URL of your site, click on "Lookup Sites" and you will see the traffic statistics.

    ..it really depends whether your just interested in exact visitor volume stats or if you'd like to actually do some analysis. Log file based systems such as awstats are better for auditing volumes whilst Google Analytics is better used for analysis and identifying problems..

    I agree that GA is probably the best to start with, of course. For a more simple and visually attractive solution, you may also check Mint, while it costs some money.
