Script contacting the same web service from 2 servers returns different results

    Hi Guys,

I am baffled by this one. Here is the situation:

A web service resides on server 1
A php script getting some info resides on server 2
The exact same php script getting some info resides on server 3

Server 2 contacted the web service and got some data back, we then updated the web service and now server 2 doesnt return the same data server 3 does (i.e 2 fields are missing on the dump of server 2).

I know this may sound confusing but I don't know how else to explain it ...

Could the WSDL file be getting cached somewhere on server 2 becuase that server contacted the web service before we updated it? This would explain why server 3 gets the correct fields because it had a fresh copy (no cached).

    Any ideas?

If you suspect the two servers are sending different requests, then I would inspect the requests and compare them before making assumptions as to the cause of the variation before confirming the effect.

I am not sure what you mean by inspect the requests. Both scripts are exactly the same and therefore making the same request.

Seems to be fixed now. The last thing I asked them to do was clear out the cache for the WSDL file and now it seems to be sorted.

    Thanks to those that looked.
