I have a bunch of graphics for products on my site and its causing a problem

I have over 800 products on my site and the images that represent the products, I believe, are too large so it take a while for my site to load properly. Is there anything I can do to make the images take up less space so my page will load faster? I got most of the images from google images. Thank you in advance

1- Try to reduce their size/resolution if these are 2000px large you won't want to upload them like that way, reduce them to something lower than 1000x1000px and keep the ratio proportions constrained. If these are photographs save them as .jpg with 60-70%quality (in Photoshop)

2- You may try a service like PNG puny to compress those files even more: http://www.gracepointafterfive.com/punypng

This is the bit which worries me, did you get permission or licensed use from each of the authors to use the images that you took from Google Images? Because if you just took images from Googles Image search without permission or license to do so, you are comitting copyright theft and that is a very serious legal problem.
