    EXPERT Ideas Needed for E-commerce Site

    hi

    Nice to see such a forum with great help, ideas and experienced people, who post to problems posted in FORUM, anyways em munir from pakistan, having experience of abt 3.5 years in PHP, here i came for help.

    do anyone has idea about wwwDOTzazzleDOTcomDOTau i have to develop the t-shirt modification module in PHP, will go for GD library but wana ask from you people if you can give me smoe goos idea about it. in ZAZZLE all image rendering is done using DLL file. but the main problem is how to go with it in PHP. i found solutions available in FLASH but they are costly. i am posting the link of which i have to develop the functionality

    chk in the link above all the functionality like adding image/text to the t-shirt, positioning it etc

    but do remember to have a solution in PHP

    do it on the client side, and only pass the X/Y/Size variables to php when done.

    Flash/javascript will render your item on the client's computer (so they can move them as they wish). And when done, you just save the data to the DB using php (or generate the final image).

    The reason you don't want to use GD and do all the work on the server it's because it can get slow. And if you have allot of buyers, you will need slow down your site with all the image generation.

    @vali....thanks, have you any idea of such work done with javascript only
