Network adapter only reading 10Mbps/Full Duplex

This is strange, my Intel network adapter is only reading 10Mbps/Full Duplex. I'm quite sure it was 100Mbps/Full Duplex before. Setting it back to 100Mbps doesn't seem to work, it can't get a link and stays disconnected.

What other devices are connected to your local network. Perhaps one of those is 10Mbps (or is currently set that way) and therefore slows everything down.

This and my laptop. I hardly connect my laptop on this network. Really weird. I think I might have set something, but I don't really remember. The only thing is that I took out the 20% bandwidth allocation for the system and disabled Teredo tunneling on this adapter.

Did you get this working? Should be able to force 100MB / FULL, try restarting the interface. Also, if it is doing auto-negotiate then, perhaps you need to look at your switch for any issues.

Are you connecting to a switch? if yes then there can be an issue with that.

I would agree with Stephen as it is on auto maybe it is picking up a 10M negotiation some where on your network.

Had any new devices been added to the network around the time the speed dropped?
