    CSS Link Class on IE6

    Here's my style/body code:
    Code:
    <style>
    <!--
    P { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans; font-size: .8em; }
    A { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans; font-size: .8em; }
    A:link { color: #880000; }
    A:visited { color: #880000; }
    A:active { color: #000088; }
    A:hover { text-decoration: none; }

    A.topmenu { color: #353535; font-size: .7em; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; }
    -->
    </style>

    </head>

    <body bgcolor="#000000" text="#000000" link="#880000" vlink="#880000" alink="#880000" topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
    And then my link looks like this:
    Code:
    <a href="#" class="topmenu">Home</a>
    Basically, I want all my links to be red, except those in the "topmenu" class, which I want to be grey. I don't understand - I get the desired results in NS4 and NS6, but for some reason IE6 won't use the color for the class (even though it does apply the lack of underline and bold). Any ideas? I've tried taking out the color code specified in the body tag and remove the "a" at the beginning of the class and neither worked.

    Thanks,
    Goof

    Problem Solved...

    Nevermind...I just solved my own problem. For some reason I had to copy the style for the .topmenu class and make topmenu:visited, topmenu:active, and topmenu:hover specifications too...odd.

    Thanks anyway,
    Goof
