What's the best prog to use for interoffice email?

Where I work we are networked together (5 computers) but do not have interoffice email to share messages/files/stuff.

Someone suggested Novell NetWare, but that looks like a big honking program (with a big honking price) that might be too big for us right now. I don't know if we're wanting to run our own server (but maybe we should?)

Anyway, what programs do you guys use for interoffice email and the like?

I assume you are using Windows.

One possibility (in a small office) would be to set up ArgoMail (by ArgoSoft) on one computer and just use it like normal POP3. They have a free version that should be more than capable of serving 5 users in an office.

AVOID Novell at all costs. We use Novell's GroupWise here at work and I HATE it. Absolutely deplorable mail program...

You're probably not running MS Exchange or some central mail server program like that are you?
