    Session.php

    There's a function in this code called:

    function session_start() {}

    Is this exendable for my applcation?

    It's not in the root of my application though, it's here:
    C:\Program Files\Jcx.Software\VS.Php\2005\2.5\Language Reference\session.php.

    Is there a way to use this file in a similar was such as a GLOBAL.asa or .asax in the Microsoft world?

    If not, why have it in the first place?

    Thanks.

    Doug.

    session_start() is a native PHP function and functions cannot be redeclared in PHP. I don't understand what it's doing in that source file.
