OSX Leopard Readline install Error
Well, I couldn't be stuck any earlier in the process. On page 25, once I have the $readline-5.2, the next prompt ./configure --prefix=usr/local is giving me configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH. ??? I suspect it has to do with the previous prompt on page 23 although it looked ok??
Any help would be appreciated:
Here is the actual thread...
Beginning configuration for readline-5.2 for i386-apple-darwin9.8.0
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... no
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.

Ok, I've found it nevermind!! I had swapped to a different computer that didn't have Xcode. I wanted to try to install on straight Leopard and not Snow.
Quite happy though that I'm installing it on Snow and its working!!! Sweet
