Old web directories, who remembers them?

Just taking a little trip down nostalgia lane and was wondering what old human edited web directories (like 2000-2002) that people remember?

Northern lights was a popular one if I remember correctly.
Of course, DMOZ was around even then.

Wasn't "Cool Site Of The Day" one?

There was about 20 million on Yahoo. Each one had their own areas (like for example, a geocities only one, or a Yahoo Clubs one).

Other than that I'm struggling, Altavista maybe? (know it was a search, but was it a directory as well?)

Miss the old days of the internet, so much simpler!

I remember one directory (or was it a search? they are both the same right?) with a butler or a guy as their icon...i forgot the name though but I used when I was still in college...
