    How to use a border fill ???

    Hi guys,
    I have been pondering over this problem for a while....I have come up with some shabby solution, that will basically only work in IE....

    Anyway, This is what I am trying to do:

    I simply want to have a fill (fill.gif) to use for the right border of my page.....
    for example: rackspace.com

    I am trying to do something similar with the right hand side of my page. I have a 4px wide gif, and need it to run the height of my page.....

    I thought this would be simple, but I cant seem to find viable solutions......

    If anyone could tell me how to do this, I would be greatly appreciative.....

    cheers

    /* assuming your file is named backgrnd.gif */
    BODY
    {
    background: url(backgrnd.gif) right repeat-y;
    }

    .....
    I dont need a background fill for the body only need it to fill one particular div......

    there is basically a main content div, and then the right div which will be the border, and that is where the background needs to go.......

    randem's offering will work within a div as well...

    #yourDiv {
    background-image: url(../background.gif);
    }
