    Need to Unclutter my wordpress powered site?

    I want to remove the Feed button and the datepost author info from my wordpress powered site. I want it to look more like a website than a blog.

    How do I do this? Edit the main templete file? What about the single post? Or am I way off?

    The feed items are probably in the header.php file and the other item is most likely in both the index.php and the single.php file.

    Well for metadata I did this, in your theme's CSS file/s, you can add

    .postmetadata {
    display: none;
    }

    either to the main css file or to a custome css file if it has one.

    You should not see those anymore after you've placed it there. Some themes do offer options to hide some or all of your post's metadata.

    As for the one at the top in the image - posts, comments - if that's part of the them and it doesn't have an option to hide those, maybe you have to manually take that out.
