Question Why does part of my image get cut off...?

    Hello -

I built an image gallery using some instructions I found online and was so happy that it worked. It is a gallery with a series of thumbnails on the right, the larger image of each thumbnail appearing on the left as the cursor floats over the thumbnail.

I have now copied it and built three more galleries on my website. However, the full image does not appear as I float over my thumbnails - the right hand side of the large images always seems to be cut off.

I am a complete html/css beginner and have tried to spot a problem using Notebook++ but I can't see what I have done wrong. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be?

The galleries can be found via the image links at www DOT diy-couture DOT co DOT uk/shoots

    Thanks-

    Rosie

What browser are you using? From what I can see it works in Firefox 2, unless I'm missing the problem!

Indeed... it's more than likely a browser issue... try checking your website on all the common browsers out there... ie, firefox, opera, and chrome. For some reason some browsers display the pages differently.

That's right. The problem is with browser probably. Most probably you are using IE, and that is the reason, you are not getting optimum view.

You have a BIG monitor, don't you!
Many users don't and will get annoyed at having to scroll horizontally to get at all the content. Make your page a bit narrower.

yes just a bit. I like the website, but I think one of the painful things as a web designer is when everything you creates looks good on Firefox, and the go to IE and everything is mess up. Site looks good. Just test it in major browser like IE7, IE8, and well about IE 6 mm well, we don't support that one anymore.
