The page rank is not what you need to work for. You need to work for the ranking and your PR do not depend on the domain name and even on the domain name extension

co.cc is the ideal choice if you are a company in the cocos (keeling) islands.

.cc is country specific and can be obtained if you target business in this region.

    Good luck.

We had some customers with .co.cc domain names. These domains sometimes have problems with DNS settings. SOMETIMES (and ONLY SOMETIMES) they stop working and point nowhere.

When it has happened for 1st time, we thought there is a server-side issue, but when it has occurred for 2nd time, we have realized all co.cc domains (not only domains hosted with us) were pointing to some strange locations at the same time. It has happened about 2 times per year.

It could also be used as an associated domain hack for creative commons (.cc), it has found a purposeful use for that kind of content over recent years.

Co.cc. is not official TLDs, they are used for free URL redirection services. Is that your purpose?

micfo, that is actually really interesting, I was under the impression it was a valid extension (in the same way .co.uk / .org.uk are valid).

It can be used for whatever the person who owns co.cc wants to use it for. It is official because .cc is a valid country specific TLD.
