Has anyone seen an application that runs in a web browser that will search facebook?

I think Facebook just released the API for this recently.

Is there a good tutorial somewhere or someplace that has some information on this new thing?

I will clarify, sorry my mistake. I can't use a toolbar. Though that one looks very cool.

I am looking for a web application, something i can plug into my website that will let me search facebook. Do you know of anything like that? Something that might be written in PHP or Coldfusion would be ideal.
