    MyPHPAdmin Question

Can I import the following to MySQL using MyPHPAdmin?

    Code:
    # MySQL-Front Dump 2.2
    #
    # Host: localhost Database: myDB
    #--------------------------------------------------------
    # Server version 3.22.32-log

    #
    # Table structure for table 'members'
    #

CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS members (
      id int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' auto_increment,
      name varchar(40) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      middle varchar(40) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      last varchar(40) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      ocupation varchar(50) ,
      email varchar(50) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      company varchar(50) ,
      add1 varchar(100) ,
      add2 varchar(100) ,
      city varchar(50) ,
      state varchar(50) ,
      zip varchar(20) ,
      country varchar(50) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      gender varchar(10) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      nationality varchar(20) ,
      language varchar(20) ,
      password varchar(10) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      dobDay char(2) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' ,
      dobMonth char(2) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' ,
      dobYear varchar(4) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' ,
      created timestamp(14) ,
      homeNum varchar(20) ,
      celNum varchar(50) ,
      otherNum varchar(50) ,
      officeNum varchar(50) ,
      ext varchar(10) ,
      faxNum varchar(50) ,
      position varchar(50) ,
      PRIMARY KEY (id)
    );

    #
    # Table structure for table 'users'
    #

CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS users (
id tinyint(3) unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' auto_increment,
      name varchar(40) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      email varchar(100) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
      password varchar(10) NOT NULL DEFAULT '' ,
       KEY id (id,email)
    );
I haven't been able to find a demo of MyPHPAdmin to find out if this is possible.

The problem is that I'm switching hosts and the new one doesn't offer direc connection to MySQL. They only provide MyPHPAdmin.

sure you can execute these sql statements in phpmyadmin.. or you want to move the whole database to the new server? in that case just dump the whole thing and send it to the new one..

If you have access to yuor MySQL trough MyPHPAdmin you can run your SQL code.
First you have to create the database where you want to "import" or run your code. After doing that, next step is to copy your code to the clipboard and paste in the text box that says: "Run SQL query/queries on database test [Documentation]:"

or if your code lies on a text file you can browse clicking in the "Or Location of the textfile:" Browse button.

PS If your batabase exists on the server, just click the name of it at left in the MyPHPAdmin manager.
    Use the source, Luke...

Thank you very much. I'll try that as soon as my new account is active.
