How to display a flash file with HTML on IE 6/7/8 and FF 2/3?

I want to show a video tour on my home page. For that, I have a .swf file and its related .flv lacted in my server.

Can anybody help me in writing a code in HTML for that?

I am seeking help for IE & FF browsers?

First of all I suggest you to not enable flash to your website, its not good for SEO point of view. To place video use the following:

1. convert .flv to .wmv
2.<embed src="http://www.aarkei.com/shredders.wmv" width="250" height="261"></embed>
3. Enjoy and thanks me!

How would a .wmv file be any more SEO friendly than a .swf?

I would use swfobject to embed it!!!

Either swfobject or nested object tags will do it. There is no such thing as an <embed> tag.
