From a recent vacation. For some reason, this one leaf was speaking to me.
So I snapped a photo.

I wish I had a studio.Originally Posted by Datura

I really love your photograph by the way.
Your studio looks like an art supply shop.

Some day you will have one too ShaunMy studio is just a room in our house, but totally for this purpose only. This is just a small part of it. I need lots of brushes, because when I paint the silks, each color needs its own brush as to not contaminate the dyes. Got lots of drawers and shelves in there to hold all the supply and also a large table. A web of rods under the ceiling to hang up all the pieces to dry.
Yep, it is quite alive in there![]()

I am really enjoying all of these. Another great topic!

I agree with Shuan, Datura's studio does look fantastic
Here is a snap of knitted squares that my fiancee started:
And some books off of her shelf too (really no organisation to it lol)

Andy -- great knitting samples and books. My books are stacked around like that too.
Shaun -- very Caribbean. I love that kind of thing. I have this book, a collection of styles of the islands, not the things people fake, but the genuine article that sprung forth out of poverty and imagination. This is a great example.
That's nice dotcompalsAre they umbrellas or something else?
Yes you are right, these are umbrellas used to decorate temple elephants during processions.

@WDG: Outstanding colors!
Are you feeling better now?
