I am interested in starting to sell advertising space ( www.tbone.8m.com/network.html ) but I need a prog (free) that will let me AND the advertisers see the impression/clickthrough per day/month without letting them reset the stats.
Does anyone know of a non-cgi prog or a remotely hosted program that can do this?
I would suggest that you won't have much success selling advertising on a site hosted by a free server. Move to a domain name and hosting site, or use an ad-network such as E-ads or adclix or something.
I agree with Adam. Most advertisers won't even LOOK at a site that gets less than 30,000 impressions/month, and it's very doubtful that you get as much with your site hosted on a free provider.
Also, FreeServers require a banner on top. Where are you gonna place the advertiser's ad then?

Thanks for the imput... if you look at the site you will see I have changed the name to sparkgames.com and once people have made the transition, I will be getting a server!
I agree... you can't expect to make a penny on advertising while you're on a free server. Your 90K impressions a month is great, but you need to get a domain name.
I would highly recommend OrbitCycle over AdRotator anyday. I've used both and OrbitCycle has been a lot better.
Boris, you said advertisers won't even LOOK at a site that gets less than 30,000 impressions a month, well my site gets less than that and I've had several advertisers, including my most recent check for $170.00. I would have to disagree, although you are right for the most part.

Why is it that being hosted on a free server makes any difference for making money? Do you mean that the quality of those servers and response time might make your visitors go elsewhere? I'm not sure I understand what you mean.
