How to format a post title like this in Wordpress

Hi I am formatting my page or post titles in the following manner

<h1><span class="bigger">W</span>e get it right the first time round</h1>

Which means that the first letter is slightly bigger than the others. How can I replicate this in Wordpress? As far as I know I cannot enter html code in the Wordpress post title field, which would be required to achieve such an effect.

 font-weight:bold;

}
