I am not exactly sure what you are after, but there are more than 25 websites employing web 2.0 style websites (in the loose defintion of the buzzword).

There are millions of web 2.0 web sites. Examples of Web 2.0 include web-based communities, hosted services, web applications, social-networking sites, video-sharing sites, wikis, blogs, mashups etc.

jamesmary009, I don't know where you got your information but the fact neither Twitter, Facebook or YouTube are shown is proof enough your data is not a top list of anything "web 2.0", just made up numbers. You can't expect anyone to believe what you have posted there has any basis in reality?

i think he is talking about websites from where you can get actual "hard links" by creating an article or a page about your website, youtube, myspace, facebook are the best social media sites of course, but they don't give you do-follow links (at least not directly)

Well arguably then you can't include wordpress, because the majority of wordpress blogs employ no-follow on the comment's to prevent linkspam.

dofollow links has nothing whatever to do with web 2.0 - web 2.0 is web applications in the browser where the page doesn't have to fully reload every time you do something.

The OP's question is similar to asking "how many days make yellow?"

Hi..businessman26, you are correct,The facebook, myspace are social networking sites and that doesn't allow us to create a page of it.They just allow us to create bookmark our link url only. But these web 2.0 pages makes us to create a page as part of it..

To get Instant Traffic to our site..Web 2.0 is one of the best process to achieve it.You can give Image linking,Anchor text,Flicker Photos,RSS Feed, etc. The page you have created in these web 2.0 Properties looks like a web site.and you can add everything to these sites..So these are the best way to promote our business and to get targeted traffic..

    Several points here:

    1. There are many ways to get traffic and the 'best' way to get traffic is dependant on your site and audience. If your a business and after high conversion traffic, search traffic is probably still your weapon of choice and results in highest conversion because you are engaging visitors who are actively looking or researching a product or service. If your site is more focusssed around discussion and participation then social media sites may well provide better traffic. I'd never rely on one traffic source alone... be everywhere you can is my take on this.
    2. The other point which seems odd here is there seems to be some confusion of what Web 2.0 is about. This really does get bandied about as a buzz word but HPgood gave probably the best breakdown which you can also read more fully on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2.0

Thanks for sharing information friends but according to my knowledge web 2.0 is based on CMS(content management system)
And many high pr and traffic sites are web 2.0 based.
    good point to discuss.

Web 2.0 is not based on content management systems. Web 2.0 is not based on anything, for that matter.

Web 2.0 basically means web applications - where the web page is able to interact with the visitor without having to load an entire brand new page for every interaction. Instead the application uses ajax to send requests to the server and retrieve the responses which it then updates into the current page. Any other changes claimed to be web 2.0 are in fact purely cosmetic changes that can be equally applied to web 1.0 sites.

Any web site that can interact without full page reloads (provided JavaScript is enabled) is web 2.0 (apart from those that are web 3.0). Any web page that requires a full page reload for every interaction is web 1.0 regardless of what else it might contain.

ya..basically web 2.0 sites allows us to create web page as part of them and we can create it as we need.We can post an article about our site and we can present it in a most beautiful way.we can give internal links in the article to our site. This way the traffic can diverted to our web site..
