    District 9 - I'm scared

I'm scared that District 9 is going to turn out to be a big rotting pile of muck like Cloverfield was.

What are peoples thoughts to it so far?

For what it's worth, I liked Cloverfield. But it really left me hanging in the end.. .

Cloverfield wasn't muck, it did exactly what it needed too... a modern revamping of the classic monstor movie - gore and all! (where the monster remained unseen by our eyes to get our imagination going as to what it was). It's one of the better horror movies to appear in recent years.

What exactly do you mean? Do you mean you haven't seen it yet, or are you referring to maybe a sequel?

Cloverfield was pretty average, I would give it a 6/10.
District 9 on the other hand was incredible. Very different. Loved it. 9/10.

I thought Cloverfield was pretty good, towards the end it got to be just another cheesy movie and I thought they should have been more clear on the ending as to what the final result was. Though all in all I liked it alot.

Not sure on D9 it looks interesting but I will probably wait for the DVD.

District 9 wasn't as good as everyone said it was. Maybe people just hyped it up so much I expected more

I heard it's like a 70's cult movie, which in all honestly may not be that bad. Some older 70's movies where good. If you haven't seen Black Christmas, see it. It's good.

I have seen District 9 last night and I think it was pretty decent. It wasn't like Cloverfield (IMHO) the first scenes were pretty boring but it gets to you in the middle and I think the movie was just right, not too cheesy not too boring...just right

It looks really interesting, but I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD. I find it's concept really intriguing.

The previews look interesting, seems to be desensitizing us to the upgraded police state. Curious if it has some funding from the U.N.

    Paperz please.
