    Songs In Code On Twitter -- Classic!

    For those on twitter a trending topic has emerged where people are putting song lyrics and titles in code. It's kept me entertained all morning.

    Here's some examples...

    if(isout(my.milkshake)) { yard.attract(boys.all()) }

    SweetHome Alabama = USStates.Where(h => h.Sky == Color.SoBlue).Single(); this.ComingHome().To(Alabama);

    b = girl(name='billiejean'); assert me.lover != b; assert b.think('theone') == me; assert b.son.father != me;

    SELECT * FROM streets WHERE name = "";

    mine.child[i] = "Sweet";

    function vindaloo() { while ($x = 0; $x < 3, $x++) { echo "Na"; } if ($we're == $you + 1) { echo "ENGLAND!"; } }

    Have been spending far too much of today thinking of these. Posted a comment on SP's blog about this the entire "Friday I'm In Love" by The Cure.

    Yeah I saw a bunch of spam there as well. Twitter really needs to sort this out

    Oh and the odd tweet from people wanting the hashtag explained!

    Alex has blogged about it. I reckon there are a bunch of people in the forums who would be quite good at this!

    Here's my contribution:

    Code:
    me = new person(garden->do(); weeds->dig());
    who = me++;
    if (me == 64) {
      you.assert(me.need());
      you.assert(me.feed());
    }
    C'mon guys, hit us with your worst!

    OK I confess I missed the fun in this while it was trending, but here at 1am I feel suddenly, belatedly, inspired. One last one before I go to bed. I know it contains syntax errors... when was the last time you wrote code at 1am that didn't??

    Code:
    me=me-you;x=1;family->x++;heartache->x++;headache->x++;
    lonely->x++;sorrow->x++;if(!tomorrow)x++;if(this.null)x++;
    if(God.FileNotFound)x++;everything->x++;

    DATE.TODAY() = SELECT * FROM TABLE DAYS
    WHERE EVER_KNOWN == TRUE ORDER BY GREATNESS DESC
    Thanks very much folks, I'll be here all night.

    Oh no! I know what someone is thinking right now. "Hey what if I sang this nerdy-code-song and played some music to it. It will be really cool!"

    ... oh dear... For the somewhat less code skilled, they make no sense whatsoever... *wanders off to the SitePoint bookshelf* Now where is that PHP book...
