    Question Twitter Account Suspension...

    Hello Friends,

I have this strange problem with twitter. I don't know if you have encountered similar situation before.

My twitter account gets suspended all of a sudden for 1 month or more then gets activated (I'm not even aware of the reason because I don't use it much)!!!

Now this happened again to me and I contacted twitter support but they are giving me rediculous reasons like suspesion of melicious activity or so...

My account is deactivated for more than one month now (2nd time) and I don't know what to do?

Any idea why this happens or how can I avoid this?

    Thanks,

Suspicious activity isn't "ridiculous" if it's for good reasons. Some people will report you as a spammer for spammy @replies, irrelevant #hashtag use, spamming your followers with DMs, and so on. Twitter considers abuse and spamminess to be made up of all kinds of dodgy activities and if enough people report your behaviour, or if Twitter determines it themselves, they'll block you. you can see a list of spammy behaviour here.

Are you definitely, absolutely sure you didn't do any of those things?

Perhaps someone else is using your Twitter account to send spam - the account gets suspended and cleaned up and you visit so infrequently that you have never seen the spam.

That's bad. Twitter should cite your violation in a much clearer way. It's vague.

Twitter will suspend your account if the twitter update URLs link to the website pages that has the malicious iframes/malware. My friend has faced the same issue. He first cleaned the pages and then contacted twitter.

Another good point. This is definitely a possibility if you aren't using it much and this happens. It's been happening to a whole lot of people lately. If this is the case, you should definitely get it cleared up because this can give you a bad reputation.
