    E-Mail from hotmail looking like a domain.com

    Hi Everybody!

A friend of mine wants an email address at @domain.com (a domain he's registered), which has been set up to forward to his hotmail address. However, whilst he receives email okay from that address, he wants to send from this address too - but keep it from his hotmail account (as his hotmail.co.uk is on all his literature).

I know you can do something similar in GMail, but is there a way in hotmail to send an email so it appears it's from @domain.com?

Click the "Add an email account" link from within hotmail (under the folder list below manage folders).

I suppose he will need some kind of email hosting and once he has that he will be able to have email at his domain name

In Gmail its easy, go in setting and link your email on other domain to gmail. You can send and recieve mails from your domain, using Gmail interface. I am sure hotmal too would have something like this, however, i am not confident about it. Cos things that google does, no one dares it.
