So I formatted and reimaged my computer. Then I tried firefox, and for some reason it was incredibly slow and completely broke Gmail. So i tried rolling back to 3.0, and still had the same issues. Does anyone know anything about this?

So it's you who broke gmail! I was wondering about that ...
As for your problem, maybe some sort of driver problem? Did you install all (proper) drivers needed?
If that's not it, maybe try and re-install firefox
Are you using any plugins btw? Maybe they're screwing up ...

yeah, reinstalling firefox deleted all the plugins i believe... all my other browsers work fine, is there a specific driver for firefox?

I'm not talking about drivers for firefox, but about drivers for your graphics card, chipset, mother board, etc ....
However, since all other browsers work fine that doesn't seem to be the problem
I'm out .. Anyone else?

try re-installing firefox, and then restart your PC.
