    Greeting Card Site

I have a question. I am very comfortable with XHTML and CSS, but have little experience in Dynamic pages (although I have integrated a couple of Cartweaver shopping carts in the past).

A customer wants me to create a Greeting Card website for him. Customers could browse the selection of cards (possibly Flash, possibly just PDFs), find one they want to send, and then enter the sender, the recipient, and a brief message.

What would be the best method to set this up? I'm leaning towards some type of PHP mail w/ attachments script, but wonder if there is something else that would be better. I don't want the E-mails to look spammy.

He does have a unique idea for the greeting cards, and hopes to make some money in the banner ads.

Thanks for any feedback/suggestions you could offer!

Indeed, his idea is unique where you go to google to see if there is no good solution.

bradyg23, well you probably want to go with flash from the offset, most greetings use that method because it's pretty easy to add some animated flare to the medium, not to mention you can get it to customize the flash animation based on the query sent to the server (just like with languages such as php). Though you should be made aware that you cannot embed flash within e-mail and expect it to work properly, most client's refuse any kind of scripting so you would have to provide a link to the website where they can recieve their message.
