    Question TD color change on mouseover?

    Hey every1. I'm at new CSS user, seeing as people kept on telling me to use it. Well, I have a Side menu that I want, when a mouse comes over to be highlighted, now; I got the text to be highlighted,but I want the whole column to be highlighted, what code do I need to use? Thanks for your help in advance!

    post a url... or a snip of the exisiting code... it'll be easier to see what you are trying to do...

    are you trying to make all of the text highlight or the background of the menu?

    oh and i forgot...
    another route without js...

    take two of these for yer head...

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    .roll a { background-color: #FFFFFF}
    .roll a:hover { background-color: #999999}
    -->
    </style>

    and for the body:

    <div class="roll">
    <p><a href="#">blah</a> </p>
    </div>

    hope that covers you...
