Recommendations for email collection/contest entry scripts/tools
Hi,
I need to create a form which registers a simple contest entry and collects an email address, for later newsletters. The client would need to be able to manage the list of collected details in a convenient way - say, be able to export to Excel to examine contest entries etc. and easily send bulk emails to the addressees on the list.
I'm guessing this is a fairly common scenario, so I'm hoping to get some recommendations of PHP scripts, tools, or approaches that work well. No objection to paying for a quality tool, but I'd want to be assured that it would work well, so would prefer Open Source if avalable. I'm fairly new to PHP but I have some other coding experience...
