I used SP, DP, and Warrior..For me Warrior and SP are best forum.

Another factor to consider is that activity in forums varies from day to day. So what time spam are we talking here: over the last day, the last month, the last year, the last ten years?
Are we talking registered members or Active members?
Are we talking average posts per day or page views?
As far as the list goes, I think it's a very poor list. It would be much more useful if it were broken into the different types of forums. For instance, Karate, Dirt Bikes, Religious, and Web Developer Forums have little in common and there were several that were marked as "general topic" forums.
I see the members here cite their area of interest -- generally Web Developer Forums, so it generates the questions, "What type of forums does the OP want to consider in activity." My guess it would be web developer forums.

Oops, didn't know that was in effect.... I was wondering why all the people who actually have something substantial to say had either left or were bribed with staff positions to stay here.
It's sad because the majority of the posts now are DP style, poor english/barely coherent drivel. Even when they are replying to a decent thread starter.
Ah well, take care guys.

interesting description
i wouldn't go so far as to say "most posts"
there certainly are a lot of posts like this in the SEO, Blogging, and similar forums, but nothing compared to the number we got while sig links were visible to search engines
the quantity of crap keeps dropping at sitepoint, and dat's a good ting

Did any guys here also think SEOchat behave a little bit ……, I have noticed many people have red button, and most of them got 20 or 30 posts.
I don't know why, but I think forums are for people to communcaite, and many people indeed have good willings to learn, not every one is spammer!!
Top forums indexed by Google as backlinks:
1. SubmitExpress
2. v7n
3. SitePoint
4. DigitalPoint
5. BZimage.org

Please forgive my ignorance, I have never heard about 1. SubmitExpress and 5. BZimage.org.
But I have just checked them both, and SubmitExpress is PR5 and BZimage.org is 4, besided all seems quite active.
Great info here, thanks dude.![]()
This thread is about the most active forum and so I'd have give the crown to DP. But a lot of their activity is generated by spam posts, so I prefer SP, V7N, and warriorforum over DP.
Apart from them V7N,Seochat,webproworld and webmasterworld are thebest ones where I participate most.
I have got pertty good advice through all the responses!!
Thanks for all!!
