IE8 Lost our Mandarin Chinese content!
We publish a Mandarin translation of a podcast; when I went to prepare the Web page for the August edition, I discovered that the Chinese characters are no longer rendering in IE8! I suspect the cause is a forced Windows Update; things look fine in earlier versions of IE, FF and Safari. Would someone help us pinpoint the cause?
Here's the relevant HTML; if you want to look at source code for yourself, see http://www.rcjournal.com/podcasts/ma...x.cfm?id=08.09.
Code HTML4Strict:<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
TIA for your help!
