    Lightbulb Launching Affiliate Program

    Hello
I'm in the process of launching an affiliate program for my web hosting company.

I'm looking for ways and ideas to generate affiliate sign ups to promote our services via the affiliate program.

I'm sure somebody out there have experiences in how to get the first couple affiliates going.

We are doing our own program, not using any others as cj.com fineclicks.com etc. Mostly to keep costs down and to have better control.

    Thanks in advance.

If you haven't already gotten the affiliate program software, I recommened this script. I'm currently using it for my affiliate program, and it is very powerful.

Anyhow, do you know anybody who could promote your web hosting? Set up a 2, 3 or even 4 tiered payout system to get people to refer others. Make it a very good payout, but don't hurt yourself. If you can talk to 1 or 2 people who will promote it, they will most likely tell their friends about it if it makes them any money.

Thanks for your tip, I have thought about doing that and plan in going down a couple Tiers. Is there places where you can submit affiliate programs to affiliate directories?

Dont bother submitting your site to affiliate directorys. They all require you to add a link to there site (doesnt look very professional)

I would suggest that you think of your affiliate program as another site and submit it to standard directorys etc.
