WORDPRESS: Add a Theme Control Panel to upload the Header Image?

Hi all,

I have looked on t'internet to no avail!

I want to be able to add a Control Panel to my theme design using functions.php...

Basically I want to be able to offer functions to my themes that changes the font or background colors, but mainly be able to upload the head image a la the Degault theme (Kubrick).

I've tried to understand what Kubrick has done, but is there a tutorial anywhere for the uploading image thing?
