Is this a good site idea?

Hey guys, anyway I saw this cool website.. where they had vector icons for sale..

Mostly I used to buy on istock, but I went to that website and they small choice but awesome design awesome cart system, you you could actually buy packs like on istock or singles.

    the site url is: http://icondock.com/

and I was thinking is making an vector icon site a good investment if I will be buying vector icons and reselling them?

If anyone have any experience with them are they worth doing? or istock just dominates them all?

It is like in any other market... you need to ask yourself if there's a niche for it or if you could do better than others. I guess you could provide something new, like a personalized service or get paid to search specific requests or adapt existing icons to what your customer needs... Something that could make you stand out from the crowd and market yourself differently.

Tell to your friends, add the site to your signature, code and program your site correctly and send it to search engines, write articles and send them to articles submission directories... all that is free (at least directly to the pocket because time is money too)

Then you have facebook, twitter, linkedIn, MySpace...

I would suggest that you visit the promotion forums and read the stickies at the top, to familiarize yourself with different forms of advertisement.
