    mail imap_mail

    hi,

    does anybody know the difference between mail and imap_mail?
    Is ist possible, that imap_mail works and mail doesn´t work?
    Is imap_mail better than mail?

    Probably not.

    Which one is better? I think mail() is the way to go.

    Yes it is possible that imap_mail works and the mail doesn't work, but if you configure right, both should work :P To work, the mail function need to specify the smtp server.

    It depends on how many emails U are sending, but mail() is the way to go, i think, or maybe take a look at SMTP sockets.
