Google Maps Firefox

I just went to Google Maps in FF 3.5 and now I have this large link text in my status bar that says: maps, map and directions, and map street, if I click it or right click it, it takes me to various weird pages all of which redirect from some valueclick url? Any ideas what this is and how I get rid of it, did google just install adware on my comp?



Clearing my cache seems to have gotten rid of it. I have never seen this before and I use maps with some regularity.

Never seen it happen before... almost seems like a kind of extension was installed. Glad you got rid of it
