    Hello everyone,
    I own a site http://echodev.com/ and even though I'm not selling it, I'm very curious about how much can it worth. Here are a couple of facts about the site:

    * Number Of Pages - 1000+
    * Unique Visitors/Month - 50,000
    * Pageviews/Month - 120,000+
    * Traffic Increase - 75-110%/Month
    * Profit - $1000+/Month
    * Advertisers - 8 so far
    * Time it takes to
    maintain the site - 15-20+ hours/week
    * eZine/Number of Subs - yes/550
    * Age - a year

    How much does a site like this could worth?

    Thank You
    Boris

    Hi Boris,
    Echo Web is certainly worth several thousand dollars- for all the content you have, all the traffic, and the advertiser income -but it is hard for anyone to put an actual price on any site.

    There are so many webmaster sites out there that it is unlikely any of our sites would bring in more than $10,000 if we put it on the market. A more realistic approach to finding the value of your site is to calculate its market share- what percentage of the webmaster market your site takes up. How you'd go about doing this is beyond me, but you could probably access some kind of Internet traffic monitoring service that keeps a log of which sites are the most heavily trafficked, and compare your site to the sites that are listed.

    Hi Boris,

    If you are telling the truth about everything that you said your site was and had, and you are able to prove it, I would say that your site is probably worth about 15k. However, I don't think anyone would be willing to pay more than 10k, unless you found a big company that wants it or found a really rich guy who really wants your site. Many people have their own opinions on how much a site is worth.

    It seems to have alot of good content. If you got a better design then I think it could actually like the previous guy said go for 10k+

    It's probably worth more to you than $10,000, but that's likely the most you could get for it. Even though the buyer would make all that up and more within a year, since it's not guarenteed you can't expect it. I think you're better of keeping it, it's probably worth enough that you actually can't sell it and come out on top!

    Like with most domain names and sites, the one thing is that...

    even if it's worth $10000 you still have to find a buyer who agrees with you
