    Question PHP 5.3 on windows: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()

    I don't understand what's the problem.

    Can somebody help me?

    As far as I can tell you haven't configured PHP to use MySQL

    Yes, I concur with the above poster. Simply re-run the PHP installer and check the box for the one you need.

    Generally, people are much better off using PDO or mysqli. The latter can be used with procedural (non-OOP) nomenclature, if one prefers. Good luck.

    You don't have mysql enabled.
    You have to enable it in php.ini or your apache conf file. Is this a shared hosting account or local?
