php mysql permissions on server
Hello, i am having trouble with some programs that use php and mysql.
Problems really started to happen after i had a new harddrive installed with dedicated /tmp partition. I had to create a dir /php in the /tmp partition and give ownership to nobody and set this as php tem dir in php.ini for php to work, but still some php mysql scripts won't work.
Example, phpadsnew worked fine before, but now i can create everything except a new banner ad for client, however if i upgrade to new developer of phpadsnew it works.
Phpauction is also giving problems, it won't upload images or write to database, do some scripts try and right to a specific /tmp for php? is the fact that i had create a tmp dir for php creating problems? if so how can i get my trmp partition to allow php writes?
