Long exposure photos

Am really into long exposure photos and wondering if anyone has any to share?

Any one got any tips etc as well?

Well, you need a camera that has shutter priority mode to start with.

Generally I think smaller apertures are better for long-exposure, as you want to control the amount of light getting in. You might also look at using filters, such as a Neutral Density one.

Check out 'Digital Photography School' on google for some articles on this, I know they have some really good ones.

Invest in a good tripod!!! Cheap ones are susceptible to the slightest vibrations that will show up in your images.

Also if you're using Canon's P&S, you can use the custom firmware CHDK that will allow you to take really long exposure photos, among other things.

Neutral Density filter is usually a must, as well.
