Next previous buttons for navigating through table results

Hi

I am new to php and sql and I have a table which displays some records from a database perfectly. I am going to add more records but don't want to display the lot on one web page so wish to allow the users to click NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons to navigate their way through the records. So maybe get the table to display 10 records at a time. This is common on most webisites that list stuff like ebay or ebuyer etc. Can anyone recommend a simple way do this or know of a tutorial on how to do this?
