How many social networks do you use regularily?

    Hey guys,

I am working on a fun little side project and wanted to get your input. I use a lot of aggregators but none of them seem to be that good, so I want to get some ideas on how to make improvements.

    - How many social networks do you sign onto regularly (say at least 1-2 times a week)?
    - What are they?
    - Do you use an aggregator (plaxo, friendfeed, etc.)? Why/Why not?
    - What would be your main reason for using one (if you do, or would in the future), and what features would you want?

Facebook daily, LinkedIn occasionally. I go there because a lot of people I like to get along with are also there.

I have become a Fan of Facebook. Before that I did not use any social networking sites. But it is nice to keep up to date with friends and family and all their babies! Facebook does not seem as sleazy as MySpace always seemed to be. My teenage step-daughters were always on there and the profile pictures of some of these kids were just disgusting! And it always seemed some pervert was trying to hook up with them! Ick!! I hated it! Too stressful!
The quizzes on Facebook are o.k., a little lame, but at least they are quick. I like the photo album feature the best and the little snippets people post throughout the day.

I use Facebook and Twitter. I log into them all separately because I like to keep things separate?

Thanks for the response so far guys, really appreciate it.

Just wondering if whether you would ever consider using an aggregator (a third party site that allows you to log into multiple social networks at the same time). Why/why not? And if so, what would be some important aspects of it (speed, ease of use, features)?

    No, I wouldn't.

I use Facebook mainly to communicate with friends, not just as a means of publishing.

@Shaun: Makes sense since you only use one social network. But any other reason why you wouldn't use an aggregator if say, you used Twitter, Facebook, email, etc ?

Well again, with Facebook my goal is to interact with friends. To post and see their photographs. To tell them to stop doing silly quizzes. To find out what we're up to tonight. Hard to do that with an aggregator, and less fun too.

As far as Twitter and e-mail go. I'm not a spammer.

I'm not going to flood people with a horde of plain-text, digital flyers which they'll ignore and throw away. Not a good use of my time, on top of annoying them and spoiling my reputation.

I open my Facebook account everyday even when I'm outdoors by the use of my mobile phone. I enjoy the games and great number of applications there.

Hmm, I guess I haven't used an aggregator because I'm waiting for Google Wave and Twave:
