    Managing partitions on external drive

    Hi,

I have a 500GB external USB drive I bought a little while ago. Now the thing came preformatted as a single partion FAT32. I should have just reformatted to NTFS straight away but instead I just started putting stuff on there. Now it's at about 250GB used and I want to change the hard drive of my Macbook Pro, which is 160GB. So I have plenty of space to copy everything over except I do have files over 4GB, like some VMWare virtual machine images that are over 10GB.

So what I want to do is maybe resize the partition and make an NTFS one with the remaining free space. Is there any reliable software available to do this?

    Thanks
