    Audio file not running

I have attached a audio file like this in my webpage
    <a href="music.m3u"><img border="0" src="images/qc_click_here.jpg" width="87" height="29"></a>

It is working fine in local linux server but not in the live website. Can anyone tell me what settings needs to changed in the live server? Thanks in advance.

This is just a link to a file. What happens when someone downloads a file is dependent upon their own computer settings. It's not something you can control.

For most people, clicking this link will just pop up a "save as" dialog, since they won't have a program that can open m3u playlists.

Thanks Dan. The issue I am facing is that when I am doing it from a remote linux server in LAN,it is working fine as it is showing as 'Save As' pop-up and file running from Media Player but when I am uploading it to the live website server,it is showing the pop-up but when I am trying to run it using in Media Player,it is saying 'Windows Media Player cannot connect to the server. The server name may be incorrect or the server is busy'. But my servername is correct.
