What's today's take on running both IE6 and IE7?
I guess I need to see both IE6 and IE7 to see whether my pages work.
In that regard, I just went through a dozen or so sites to find out how people have both 6 and 7 running -- and the comments on every site pretty much comprise people saying that this part or that part or none of it works.
Of course when one does a Google search one gets hits regardless of age (ugh). So what is the technique that the smart Sitepoint people are using now today, to see their designs in IE6 and IE7?

What about IE8? You should be testing in that too.
Anyways currently the only methods that gives true and reliant results is virtual machines. I use a custom installation of Windows XP and VMware. Microsoft gives out images for Virtual PC with IE6-IE8 all for free.
Download Internet Explorer Application Compatibility VPC Image
Download Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 SP1Logic without the fatal effects.
